Cleanjet – Terms and Conditions of Trade
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services (“Services”) provided by Cleanjet (“we”, “our”, “us”) to customers (“you”). By requesting or accepting a Quote from us, or by allowing us to provide Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services and Quotes

Cleanjet will perform the Services described in the Quote provided to you.

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

Any unforeseen work, additional time, or extra materials required to complete the Services may be charged in addition to the Quote, but we will consult with you before proceeding.
2. Your Responsibilities

You must provide us with all necessary information, instructions, and access to the property to allow us to perform the Services.

You must ensure that the premises are safe and that we have access to electricity and water if required.
3. Payment
-
Payment in full and cleared funds is required upon receipt of each invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Preferred payment methods include bank transfer or any payment option indicated on the invoice.

If payment is not received when due, interest at a rate of 1.5% per month may be charged on the overdue amount, compounding monthly until paid in full.

You will be liable for any costs we incur (including debt collection and legal costs on a solicitor–client basis) in recovering overdue amounts.
4. Ownership and Risk

Any cleaning products, materials, or equipment supplied by us remain our property unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Risk for any goods or materials we supply passes to you upon delivery.
5. Liability

Cleanjet will exercise all reasonable care when providing Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, our liability for any loss, damage, or expense you suffer in connection with the Services is limited to the price you paid for those Services.

We will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of profit, however arising.

We will not be liable for delays or failure to provide Services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, accidents, public emergencies).
6. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986

If you are acquiring Services for personal, domestic, or household purposes, you have the protection of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those Acts.

If you are acquiring Services for business purposes, the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 do not apply.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

Late cancellations may incur a fee at our discretion to cover lost time and scheduling costs.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality

We collect and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Any information collected will be used only for the purpose of providing Services, managing customer relationships, and as otherwise permitted under New Zealand law.
9. Governing Law
-
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
10. Changes to Terms
-
We reserve the right to review and update these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect from the date they are published on our website. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using our Services.
